Mable’s Rose Garden

GCA members Jane Hansen and Rita Steele at Mabel's Rose Garden

This spring, The Ringling Museum celebrated the legacy of Mable Ringling’s Rose Garden, a formal garden she created at the estate in 1913.
Mable was Founders Garden Club’s first president, and a garden party was the ideal occasion to reinforce this longtime relationship.

As the guests strolled through the gardens filled with blooming roses, they sipped mimosas while enjoying musical entertainment, garden artists and the opportunity to create a flower arrangement. Guests were provided with vibrant colored roses and other unique plant material, and under the guidance of Founder’s members, they created a floral design to take with them as a reminder of Mable’s beloved garden.
